Welcome to West Glacier Elementary, Montana's School District 8. District 8 has one school offering kindergarten through sixth grade.
We have three multi-grade classrooms and a dedicated kindergarten.
West Glacier Elementary (WGE) is located across the Middle Fork of the Flathead River from the entrance to Glacier National Park. Its location, fantastic staff, and great facility, coupled with its incredible community, make WGE an amazing little school.
West Glacier Elementary has adopted a four-day school week. Students attend school from 7:40 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., Monday through Thursday. We offer a full-day kindergarten and closely follow the academic calendar of the Columbia Falls Schools (District 6).
