Welcome to West Glacier Elementary, where small school connections and big learning opportunities come together in the heart of Montana.

West Glacier Elementary (WGE), Montana’s School District #8, is a single-school district serving students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

At WGE, students learn in three multi-grade classrooms along with a dedicated kindergarten classroom, creating a close-knit environment where relationships and individualized support thrive.

Nestled just across the Middle Fork of the Flathead River from the entrance to Glacier National Park, West Glacier Elementary benefits from a stunning location, exceptional staff, excellent facilities, and a supportive community, making it a truly special place to learn.

WGE follows a four-day school week, with students attending from 7:40 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., Monday through Thursday. We provide a full-day kindergarten program and align our academic calendar closely with Columbia Falls School District #6.
